Elizabeth Brown

Elizabeth has practised as a family mediator since 2006 and is a Family Mediation Council accredited mediator and member of the College of Mediators. 

Elizabeth worked with (the late) Robin ap Cynan at Lupus Mediation in Wolverhampton and Birmingham; Shires Associated Lawyer Mediators in Shrewsbury, Telford and Worcester; The Mediation Centre, in Stafford, Burslem and Crewe and at Greens Mediation in Birmingham.

In 2017 and 2018 she was Chief Assessor for the Family Mediation Training Foundation Course run by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Group (ADRg).

Elizabeth was In Court Mediator at both Birmingham and Telford County and Family Proceedings Courts, and at Wolverhampton Family Proceedings Court.

She practised as a solicitor, specialising in Family Law, for over twenty years - beginning her legal career in South Wales, before moving to London, and then the Midlands. 

Elizabeth has extensive experience in helping to resolve all types of financial disputes and issues concerning children between spouses, civil partners and cohabitees. She is committed to assisting parents and couples to resolve their disputes in a way which is as constructive and non-confrontational as possible.

Elizabeth lived in Ceredigion for seven years during the 1980’s and has now returned permanently.
